High Quality Work

Inspire Academy students are always working to solve real world problems!

How can we stay emotionally and physically healthy during a quarantine? Students build a website for other kids who need ideas and write articles about hobbies we are diving into to keep our minds and bodies active!

What does it mean to grow up in a digital age, resulting in early online footprints? Students create an information board to help kids think through their online activities and choices!

Where do eggs come from and what is the life cycle of a chicken? Students create scientific drawings and explain them to guests.

Is there anything we can do about reducing pollution in oceans even though we live in Indiana? Why does it even matter? Students read and become passionate and become advocates for a schoolwide plastic recycling program.

What do we do about that fact that so many of our classmates are negatively impacted by gun violence? Students organize and participate in a Wear Orange Campaign each year.

How can we make sure more kids have access to more books? Students and families create and donate to the ongoing stocking of a Little Free Library.

The list goes on and on, as students engage in solving real world problems and are expected to create a product that meets professional standards in the field at least once every semester. Kids create work they can be proud of and learn to “be the change they want to see in the world,” as Mahatma Gandi so eloquently communicated for us.
